The Federation of Ugandan Migrant Workers Associations (FUMWA), currently in formation, is calling upon all Ugandan migrant workers' associations both in Uganda and abroad to unite for a common cause. This initiative aims to establish a strong, unified voice that represents the interests and concerns of Ugandan migrant workers worldwide.
As the number of Ugandan workers seeking opportunities abroad continues to rise, the need for cohesive representation has never been more critical. FUMWA seeks to bring together various Ugandan migrant workers' associations to advocate for better working conditions, fair treatment, and the protection of rights for all Ugandan migrants. "By uniting our efforts, we can amplify our voices and ensure that the concerns of Ugandan migrant workers are heard at national and international levels," stated Oloka Keneth, a member of the organizing committee and President Kyeeyo intiative Association Uganda
