Raising Awareness Run

On 30th November 2019, Migrant Workers Voice launched a run for the cause "Raising awareness about safe migration, international labour rights and labour exportation". The run that took place at Old Kampala Secondary school was intended to raise funds for the Rehabilitation center for our Migrant Worker Community in Uganda.

There was a large turn up for the event that created a podium for creation of awareness on several matters affecting labour exportation. Migrant Workers' Voice believes that through creating awareness and sensitization about the subject can be a one absolute remedy to control human trafficking, forced labour and promote safe migration to local and corporate communities that are indeed not aware of the prevailing technicalities involved to take up opportunities from one zone to another.
